Child Prostitution
Life on the streets, addiction, abuse. In the 90s, I documented the everyday life of several child prostitutes in the Philippines. Living in makeshift tents on the beach, they got high on the glue they sniffed. That was the only way they could endure sex with their Western clients. My «Grand Reportage» appeared in Stern, among others publications, and resulted in a concrete change: the German Bundestag passed the law that even if an offence was committed abroad, the clients could be prosecuted for their actions in their home country.
