Rustling leaves, harmonious shapes, massive structures – photographs that let the eye wander into dense forest landscapes. What I first understood only as the natural background of my work, I now use as foreground – nature itself is not only the stage, but also the protagonist. Long exposure times and multiple images create a playful alternation of bright and dark, of light and shadow. This creates painterly panels of unimagined depth.
