It just happens that the subject is Switzerland, and it just happens that I'm Swiss. But that hasn't stopped me from looking at this Switzerland as an exotic country – just as I might look at Thailand or Paraguay with my camera. Of course, the country where you grew up, where you don't live but where you are absent when you travel around, the country against which you measure your experience of the world-this country evokes more emotions than other countries. Especially since Switzerland is a highly praised country, a rich one, a beautiful one, a low-tax one – non-Swiss people like to have the idea that Switzerland is a paradise – a praised country.
